A Desiccant is a substance which has a very high affinity for water. This property of desiccant makes it a very good drying agent. Few examples of desiccant materials are such as Silica Gel, Calcium Oxide, Calcium Sulfate, Zeolite etc. just to mention a few of them.

Desiccant acts as a drying agent and absorbs all the moisture in the air within its proximity, making the enclosure dry and moisture free. Once the desiccators are replaced with a fresh desiccant the process of dehumidifying and drying within the desiccators is again maintained.

The super dry cabinet series are of two types: The super dry hyper series and the super dry 02 series. The super dry hyper series have a RH (Relative humidity) of 1-50% and include digital control double dry units. On the other hand the super dry 02 series are equipped with 2-50% RH (Relative humidity) and digitally controlled single dry units.
